Vegetarian or better yet, Vegan is the way to go. But, healthy vegan foods can cost an arm and a leg. So, who couldn't use some helpful advice on eating vegan well and saving money? I'm always looking for an edge on my grocery bill. I have to tell you, there isn't too much coupon cutting for vegetarians, although I do save money at the grocery stores. I'm signed up at several stores for frequent shoppers cards and they always send me out $3.00 off $10 coupons on produce or $2.00 off $5.00 in the Natural Foods Section. I found out my Cashew milk was included in the natural foods section and I'm always buying that. Then, the grocery stores have where you can go online and load coupons onto your cards. More and more produce and natural foods are popping up there. I've gotten in the habit of asking the produce man if he has any "ugly" vegetables. I sometimes take a big bag of organic mixed vegetables home for 99 cents. Two dollars, if the other produce man is working. But, they really fill the bag. Sometimes, it's just because the red bell peppers are a little too square (they're not always perfectly round) or the apple is part green and part yellow. The grocery store likes everything looking perfect. Anyway, it never hurts to ask.

So, back to this little money saving book. Once into the book, I was disappointed. I found nothing to really save money on or any innovative recipes I was expecting. I suppose, after reading hundreds of cookbooks, this titillating title aroused my curiosity. It did not live up to it's title. I'm not saying they're bad recipes, but they're mainly oatmeal and taco sauce recipes I will saw one thing, the author does know how to budget. She certainly saved on paper. This is only 27 pages. I thought there had to be more, because there just wasn't anything there. All of a sudden, I was at the end. I cannot recommend this booklet at all. I found nothing useful and I don't think you will either. I do not pay for any of the books I review, whether they are on Amazon or the authors offer them to me as ARCs, My reviews are my opinions and mine alone. Thank you for reading my review.
